The Zero Song. A blue curtain is raised revealing a classroom full of students.
If I had ten apples, and gave them all away.
I would then have zero apples, zero apples today.
Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, and four,
Three, two, one, zero!
Now I have no more.
Backpack Bear is standing in the middle of the classroom holding a tray with ten apples. There are ten students around him. Backpack Bear passes out apples to everyone in the class. All of the kids and Starfall Friends hold their apples in the air.
Zero, zero, zero.
Zero apples today.
Zero, zero, zero apples.
I gave them all away.
Backpack Bear sways back and forth while the students take a bite of their apples. He makes a zero shape with his paws.
We each have an apple.
An apple we can bite.
Once we eat all our apples,
There'll be zero apples in sight.
Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, and four,
Three, two, one, zero
Now there are no more!
All of the kids and Starfall Friends sway back and forth. They take a bite of their apples. Backpack Bear grabs an empty bucket. Once the apples are gone, the students throw their apple cores into Backpack Bear's bucket.
Zero, zero, zero.
Zero apples we say.
Zero, zero, zero apples.
We ate them all today.
Everyone holds their hands in the air making a zero shape with their fingers. They all smile and sway back and forth.
THE END The curtains close.
