Illustrations of the vowels "o" and "a" move into the word "Boat." The word "Boat" moves to take its place in the title, "Soap Boat."
"My soap boat is sailing away!" cries Joe. A drawing shows a bar of soap floating in the water. A nail is stuck in the top, holding a leaf as a sail. A boy and his mom stand on the beach nearby.
The soap boat is lost in the sea. The soap boat keeps sailing. The city fades away in the distance.
"What is this?" says a fish. A fish with big friendly eyes swims up to the soap boat.
A whale is under the water. The whale lifts the soap boat out of the water.
The soap boat floats on top. The whale sprays water up. The soap boat floats up with it.
A bird grabs the soap boat. The bird flies back toward the shore with the soap boat in its beak.
The bird drops the soap boat. The soap boat is back on land. Joe and his mom stand nearby.
"It's my soap boat!" says Joe. Joe finds the soap boat. He shows it to his mom.
